Hi, I am Jules.  I am very happily married to the handsome Woodturner, who loves his wood shop almost as much as he loves me.  We have 5 beautiful children.  The Elf Princess,  Miss America, Dragonmaster, Blondie and Brownie a la Mode.

My mom gets credit for teaching me to love hand crafts.  She taught me to embroider in 2nd or 3rd grade and she frequently had quilts up then too.  She taught me to hand sew by giving me a basket of scraps and some needles when I was very young and later on her sewing machine.

I am a seamstress and a quilter (although technically I am more of a piecer than a quilter).  I love to walk into a fabric store and smell the new fabric.  I am sure the employees think I am weird.

My hand craft interests include: buying lots of fabric, sewing clothing, piecing quilts, stamping cards, scrapbooking, crocheting, paper piecing with my cricut, gardening – veggie and flowers, and artsy things.  Other interests are hiking, camping, biking, playing in water and mostly, being with my family.  We currently only have hermit crabs as pets.  I am allergic to cooking and laundry.  I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and I love it!
